Privacy policy
Short version: no account system, no newsletter, no tracking until you agree to it, and no data sold to anyone.
Who runs this site
TechX is operated by Teja Pagidimarri, an individual based in Hyderabad, India. For any question about this policy or about data held about you, write to hello@itstechx.com.
What we collect directly
Nothing. There is no account system, no login, no newsletter, no comment section, and no form on this site that asks for your details. We do not ask for your name, your email, or anything else in order to read an article.
If you email us, we obviously have your email address and whatever you wrote. That is kept in an ordinary mail client for as long as it is useful for dealing with the thing you wrote about, and it is not added to any list, database or marketing system.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC, to count page views and see which articles get read. It is the only analytics tool in use.
It does not run until you agree to it. Google Consent Mode is configured
so that analytics storage, advertising storage, ad personalisation and ad user data all
default to denied. The Google Analytics script itself is not even downloaded until you
press Accept on the consent banner. If you press Decline, or ignore the banner entirely,
no analytics script is loaded and no analytics cookie is set. Your choice is remembered in
your browser's local storage under the key techx-consent so you are not asked
on every page.
If you do accept, Google Analytics sets cookies that let it recognise a returning browser, and it processes your IP address in order to derive an approximate location. IP anonymisation is enabled. We see aggregate reports: page views, referrers, approximate country, device category. We cannot see who you are, and we never attempt to identify individual visitors.
The specific cookies involved are listed on the cookie policy page. Google's own handling of this data is governed by Google's privacy policy, and data may be processed on servers outside India, including in the United States.
Advertising
There is currently no advertising on this site and no advertising network script is loaded on any page. If that changes, this section will be updated before any ad code goes live, and advertising cookies will be gated behind the same consent banner that currently gates analytics.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes connection data, including your IP address, in order to serve pages and to protect against abuse. This is a technical necessity of loading any website and it happens before any consent choice is possible. Cloudflare's handling is governed by its own privacy policy.
What is stored in your browser

The first two are not cookies and are not transmitted with any request. Clearing your browser's site data removes all of the above and you will be asked about consent again.
What we do not do
- Sell, rent or share your data with anyone.
- Build advertising profiles ourselves.
- Run any social media tracking pixel, share widget or embedded player.
- Load fonts, scripts or images from third-party origins. Fonts are self-hosted.
- Send email to anyone who has not emailed us first.
Your choices and rights
You can change your analytics decision at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which will bring the consent banner back. You can block cookies entirely in your browser settings; nothing on this site breaks if you do.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, and under the GDPR if you are in the EU or UK, you can ask what personal data is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Because we hold no personal data beyond email correspondence, such a request in practice means deleting an email thread, which we will do on request. Write to hello@itstechx.com.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. There is nothing here to sign up for.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. A change that introduces a new third party, such as an advertising network, will be made before that third party's code is added to the site rather than after.
