One person reads everything sent here. Corrections and failed reproductions get priority over everything else.
Write to hello@itstechx.com. That address reaches Teja Pagidimarri directly. There is no team behind it and no ticketing system, so a reply takes as long as it takes, usually a few days.

Who you are writing to
TechX is written and run by Teja Pagidimarri, 11+ years in content marketing and seo, based in Hyderabad, India. Every article on this site carries that byline and every measurement published here was taken by hand on the hardware described on the how we test page. There is no editorial desk to escalate to, which is the point: if something here is wrong, one person is responsible for fixing it.
What is most useful to send
A measurement that did not reproduce
This is the single most valuable message we receive. If you ran a command from an article
and got a materially different result, please include your machine, its chip, the exact
macOS build from sw_vers, and the output you saw. A figure that fails to
reproduce on other hardware is a finding in its own right, and it goes onto the article
with the date once it is confirmed.
A correction
Wrong arithmetic, a misread field, an outdated claim, a command that no longer works on a newer build. Corrections are made on the article itself with a dated note rather than edited in silently, as described in the editorial policy. You do not need to be certain, and you do not need to be polite about it.
A question about method
If an article does not make its conditions clear enough for you to repeat the test, that is a defect in the article and worth reporting. Method questions often result in the article being expanded.
What we cannot help with
- Individual troubleshooting. We are not a support desk, and diagnosing a specific machine's problem over email is not something one person can do at any scale. Apple Support exists and is better resourced for this.
- Guest posts, sponsored articles, link exchanges and paid placements. None of these are accepted, and messages proposing them are not answered.
- Requests to test hardware we do not own. If you are wondering why a device is not covered, the answer is almost always that it is not on the rig.
- Press enquiries about unreleased products. This site does not cover rumours or unannounced hardware under any circumstances.
What happens to what you send
Email sent to the address above is received in a standard mail client and is not added to any mailing list, newsletter, or marketing system. There is no newsletter. Messages are kept only as long as they are useful for handling the thing they were about. If a correction you send results in a change to an article, you are welcome to be credited by name, and you will be asked before that happens rather than after. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
Reporting a measurement that did not reproduce
This is worth its own section because it is the message most likely to change something
here. A useful report has four parts: your machine and its chip, the exact build string
from sw_vers, the command you ran copied verbatim, and the output you got.
With those four things a result can be checked in minutes. Without them the exchange
usually takes a week and ends inconclusively.
You do not need to be sure the article is wrong. Hardware varies, thermal conditions vary, and several figures published here are explicitly expected to differ between machines. A report that turns out to be a legitimate difference rather than an error is still useful, because it establishes the range a measurement actually covers, and that often becomes an update to the article.
Response times, honestly
One person reads this inbox alongside doing everything else on the site. Corrections and failed reproductions get looked at first because they affect what is published. Questions about method usually get an answer within a few days. General messages may take longer, and some do not get a reply at all, which is a capacity problem rather than a judgement about the message. Nothing sent here is deleted unread.
